Heartstrings, the final film of UWN BA Animation graduate Rhiannon Evans, has been shortlisted for judging in the Best Student Film category of the British Animation Awards! Workplace Short Film Competition from reed.co.uk Leading UK job board, reed.co.uk, has launched a film competition with a top prize of £10,000 in cash. The online contest invites anyone to upload their own short film under the heading ‘workplace’. Deadline: 31 January 2010.

National Young Filmmakers' Award 2010 (UK) The winning films in each age group will receive a £250 cash prize towards their next project. The competition is open to any young filmmakers aged from 0-19. The deadline for entries is Friday 18 December 2009. Click here for further details.

S4C and TAC ‘Creative Business Leadership Programme’, January 2010 @ ATRiuM, Cardiff.

PG Empowers- 3  One-Day Short Courses Presented by Producer Steve Clark- Hall
The Production Guild has enlisted the help of producer Steve Clark-Hall (RocknRolla, Sherlock Holmes, Lesbian Vampire Killers) to present three one-day short course on Finance Model, Conflict Resolution and Leaderships.
